Description: In April of 2020, I low crawled up to this hen frolicking in her favorite dust bowl. I first spotted a dust cloud rising from the hillside opposite of me and chuckled because I had a feeling the "smoke signals" were being made by a hen I knew to be nesting in the area. I was right. It made for some great photos, and I was THRILLED to capture this sequence!
